It's a weird feeling

My dad applied for a job today. The first one that he's REALLY wanted since the layoff. I dropped everything on Superbowl Sunday to help him with his cover letter.

I am full of conflicting emotions. I want him to get it so badly. I am terrified of him being passed over, because I'm not sure he can take another blow to his fragile confidence.

I know how you feel - my dad bounced from job to job for nearly 5 years before getting his current job that he LOVES.  It sucked seeing him take jobs he hated just to pay the bills and I was so happy when he got this job.
