follow up on Lila

DD1 is Selah (pronounced "say-la"). Do you think Selah and Lila ("lie-la")are too similar sounding to be siblings?

Re: follow up on Lila

  • They are similar, but too themey.  BTW, I love Selah, it is unusual but very pretty, how did you pick it?
    Sadie is not impressed.

  • Too matchy, or rhyme-y, or something. Both beautiful, but I just don't think they work for sisters.
  • Yes, I think they're too similar- that was actually my first thought when I read your first "Lila" post.

  • Bummer.  I keep going back and forth because it's just the ending of the names that are alike while the beginnings are so different...Oh well.  Thanks for your opinions! :)
  • Yes. So similar that when you call one, both will come running.
