So I'm boycotting Walgreen's.

I went there today to get diapers since they are having a sale. I also had coupons FROM HUGGIES. It's not a store coupon, not a competitor coupon; a real manufacturer's coupon. The cashier told me he wasn't allowed to accept them and called his manager. The manager then told me that it's up to her disgression and that she does not accept coupons because they are fraudulent. This is the SECOND time I've been told this at 2 different Walgreen's. I think that's just total B.S. and they don't want to honor their corporate coupon policy. Needless to say, I won't ever shop at Walgreen's again. I will also not be renewing any prescriptions there!

Was it printed off the computer? If not then I would call 1800walgreens and complain. If it was off the computer I see their point because they are often forged.

I also refuse to shop at Walgreen's after the store manager accused me of "stealing" because I was using coupons to get theings for free.

I go to CVS, and the cashier always congratulates me on my deals.

I hate Walgreens.  DS is on 2 prescriptions and I hate them. I've never had a good experience. My blood pressure rises just thinking about them.  Switched to Target pharmacy.  Best decision ever!

It was a real coupon. I did call Walgreen's and they took down the info. I'm on a couple other sites for saving money/couponing and I can't even tell you the number of posts complaining about Walgreen's! I never have an issue with CVS though. I think I'll just stick with them!

Was she talking about all coupons or just yours?  That is really odd.  My mom was told she was not allowed to use more than 3 coupons in one transaction once.  Stupid.  I don't get that.  Way to promote your business!

that sucks. i've always had good experiences with walgreens. however after reading these posts i'll be less likely to take any shiit for them thats for sure! hopefully mine won't follow in the crappy footsteps.
