XP Have a becco..help please

Just got my beco (yay!) If you have one help  a sister out! DD at 2 month check was 12lb 6oz so I am guessing she is still under 15 lb and needs newborn insert. However, when I try to get it adjusted it will be below the line where it says not to attach it. If I try to move it up it will end up having her head above the carrier.

Am I doing something wrong or does she not need insert? She is tall 24 inches at check up so maybe that has something to do with it. Thanks for your help. If you can't tell I am very anxious to use it

My DD is tall too and doesn't need the insert. You're fine without it.

 k another dumb question....the videos look so easy then you add me to the picture and it gets difficult. How low should it sit? I have it on right now (DD is sleeping in it) and the band is lower than me C/S cut and I can feel it on my thighs when I walk. Thats too low right? How do I fix this. What would I do without these boards...
