It makes me sad to get on this board and see how many people had it easy with the college thing. My parents always pushed about college and I was a great student - then the time came and it was like, "College fund? What's that?" I feel completely let down on that one. I supported myself entirely and tried to pay for school out of pocket.

Now I'm 25 and going to a freakin community college. There was a poll the other day - the majority of this board at least has an undergrad degree.

Ugh, that blows.  But better late than never!

I honestly wish my mom had been less supportive of "my dream" at the time, and more "come to Jesus" with me about school.  And that I wasn't a dumbass about it.  Le sigh.
