8 week growth spurt?

DH just called saying that DS has wanted to eat ever hour and a half. He usually goes two hours on the dot unless he is napping. This weekend he woke up at night every two hours when he usually sleeps 5-6 hours before eating. Is this a growth spurt or could he be getting used to me going back to work and becoming comfortable to DH and my mother watching him in the day?

spurts are typically at 3 weeks, 6 weeks and 12 weeks, but every baby is different. Hard to say!
