NTR: Who watches Dexter?

I am just finishing up the last show in the first season now.  Holy crap, it's almost worth ordering Showtime.  Really trying hard to resist the urge to order a channel I don't need.

How come no one's mentioned its awesomeness on here before?  Or have I just not noticed Dexter talk among the Big Love talk, the Teen Mom talk, the ANTM talk, and whatever-other-shows talk?

I love Dexter! I have showtime, but I also watch a lot of the other shows on there, like Weeds, Nurse Jackie, Californication, etc. Dexter is probably one of the best shows out right now, imo. Personally I'd much rather watch Dexter or one of the other shows that I mentioned as opposed to watching Teen Mom, ANTM or something else .

I am still trying to convince DH that we need Showtime over the summer to watch the new season.  Each season is better than the last, and I cannot wait for the new one to start!

There was lots of Dexter talk around the time of last season's finale.  Not much to talk about when the show's not on, though....

me! DH and I just finished season 3 on netflix and we are sad b/c we aren't willing to get showtime right now either.

We rent the seasons to avoid paying for Showtime (being that we already pay for HBO to watch Hung when it's on).

Dexter is one of the best shows on TV.  Its so well written, and acted.

We have LOVED it since season 1.

I found 24 the same way as you...  started watching the 1st season during the third season and we were blown away.

I'm smack dab in the middle of Season #3, disc 3 and cannot wait to finish this season.  Why, oh why, can't my kids take multiple naps during the day?

I'm just getting ready to start the 3rd season! I love it! I also watch Weeds and it probably wouldn't be too hard to convince Dh to order Showtime, but we really don't have the budget for that. So Netflix it is!
