Rave- Ear check monitor

This is seriously one of the best things I've bought.  The other day, DS was happy as a clam running around and playing.  In the evening, he came to sit on my lap and I noticed he felt pretty warm.  Took his temp and it was 102!  I decided to check his ears and the left ear was registering an infection.  It was late, so I have him some tylenol and waited until the next morning.  The fever was completely gone and DS was happy like he normally is.  I debated even taking him in because he wasn't tugging at his ear or seemed the least bit bothered.  I ended up going because the monitor was still reading an infection.  Good thing I did.  Turns out he has a pretty nasty infection in that one ear.  There was no way we would have ever guessed he had an ear infection from the way he was acting.

I think there's only one brand- at least this is the only one I've seen.  I got mine from drugstore.com, but I've seen it at Target.  I'm sure other stores have it as well.  It's by the thermometers.

I just ordered one from One Step Ahead. I'm not sure if it is the same brand or not. I wasn't sure if it would work or not but figured it was worth a try.

I had first seen it in One Step Ahead.  I'm pretty sure it's the same one.  Like I said, I believe there's only this one.  When I got mine I was looking around and didn't find any other brands
