Call the doc or ?

I feel pretty crappy today. I have been having some lower abdominal crampyness this morning, along with pain in my labia (TMI, sorry). I feel like i'm sore and puffy down there. I just don't feel myself. I had an NST yesterday and Baby A wasn't as reactive as she was last week (doc was ok with it because i'm only 28 1/2 weeks), and she was still reactive. They've also been moving like crazy this morning so it's a little reassuring to me. So should I just take some tylenol and a nap and see what happens, or is it something that warrants a call to the dr? Thanks.

  • I think anytime you don't feel "right" you should call.  However, my docs have told me that babies tend to calm down/stop moving when labor or PTL begins, so the fact that your babies are moving like crazy right now is a really good thing.  Their movements may be causing you pain, crampyness, but I would still call just to be safe.

  • I would call. Better safe than sorry.

  • I always think about how I didn't call when I had a bit of lower back pain and "just didn't feel right".  They were born the next day.  I might be being paranoid, but I wasn't when I was pregnant and always think about what would've happened if I had called the doctor.  I say call.
