I got a snow day!

I love when school gets cancelled and we get an unexpected break. I always hate giving up a scheduled day off in March, though, to make up for it! I know that we got nothing like you ladies out east, but I am going to take this gift of a day and play! I shoveled the driveway and now I will take myself out for breakfast! Yippee!

woo hoo. enjoy it. we dont get snow days here we get foggy day schedule. the fog gets really bad in the morning so school starts later like 9 or 10.

I work in private industry here in Central PA and we NEVER close (unless the Gov. declares a state of emergency), but I did just hear through the grapevine that management is having discussions about how to handle things tomorrow morning so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we close.  One of their signature moves is to have people struggle to make it in and then close early, yet penalize those who were unable to make it in.  I know...it makes no sense.

My DH works for a school district and they will certainly be closed tomorrow and perhaps even Thursday depending upon how much we get.  They are predicting 8-18 inches with blizzard like conditions during the day tomorrow.  Not sure where we are going to put another foot of snow on top of the 20 inches we got on Saturday, but we'll manage.

Hee hee, have fun!

We just got an all staff email saying we'll have a snow day tomorrow - woo HOO!  I only hope we actually get snow this time (I love snow)... Saturday was a total bust; thought it would snow at least a little, but the weather "flaked" out on us...

Lucky!  We still had school in Chicago.  Maybe tomorrow, though?
