I hate the scale at my OBs

I always weigh at least 5lbs more there than I do at home (at least).  They also dont take any weight off for clothing.  My old ob office took of 1-2 lbs for clothes, and I was always almost the same there as I was at home.  I am choosing to go by what I weigh at home:)

Thank you!  I am so glad I'm not the only one with an OB's office whose scale LIES to them.  LIES!!  You would think they would fix that so that women who are already gaining weight wouldn't almost faint seeing that they weight 5lbs more all of the sudden. 

I go by my scale at home.  It doesn't lie to me.

5 pounds, ouch!  My OB's scale is actually accurate- I weigh 1 pound more there, fully dressed, than I do at home naked.

As long as it's always off by the same # I don't care...I just like to know the total weight gain. who knows...maybe my scale at home is wrong

Same here. The OB's scale is always 4 lbs over my home scale. I don't even look at my weight at the OB anymore. I just asked the nurse to tell me if I'm getting too fat, but I don't need their #s. lol

Me too! And they do it really quickly as well...always leaning toward the higher weight ugh! Last time I went I had been weighed the week before at reg DR b/c I was sick....one week later at OB weighed 6lbs more! Really??!! I asked my OB about it she laughed and said the one at that office always weighs differently than at the other office ( they have 2 ) and not to worry. Still...:)

It's so annoying! As if pregnant women don't hate getting on the scale enough. I go by my home and gym scales. They are always within a pound of each other. You would think they would be more accurate!

I don't even look at the scale at the OB's office.  I go by my scale at home.
