What do you use to wash and condition your lo's hair? I wash ds's night normally every night with his bath, but I'm noticing that it is starting to get a little dry. I haven't been using any conditioner either. Thankfully, his hair isn't as super curly and frizzy as his momma's, but it's starting to get a little dry. Any recs?
Re: LOs with curly and/or dry hair, come in
DD has boingy curly hair that is dryer in front than anywhere else, but looks very unruly if we don't put anything in it unfortunately. We use the Herbal Essense line for curly/wavy hair (including the jar of pomade type stuff that we put in while her hair is still wet and after we've combed it out).
She's good about closing her eyes when we rinse her hair and all so no probs so far with stinging eyes.
I wash her hair every other night rather than every night and use aveeno baby body wash/shampoo. Afterwards, I put a healthy amount of Johnsons leave in conditioner (green tube) and blow dry on low.
If it wasn't cold, I wouldn't blow dry and just let it air dry.
when DS had his long curly hair, i would just wash it with his burts bees baby shampoo. after he got out i put a little dallop of my leave in conditioner (fructise (sp?) sleek and shine or whatever). worked like a charm!
