I want to leave work, but I don't want to go home...
DS is finally getting over RSV (yay), but the 5 day hospital stay has left me drained. The day we got home from the hospital, DH gets sick (sore throat, nasty cough). He went to the doctor's and got some meds and said he is feeling better, but for the past three nights he has been coughing his lungs out. Between his hacking and DS starting to not STTN I've averaged maybe 4 hours of sleep the past few nights. Last night I found myself going to the store at 2am in search of cough medicine for DH because I couldn't take it anymore. (Yeah, I know, what a bad mom for not having cough medicine, but I purged my bathroom during my maternity leave of all the expired meds and I never got around to stocking it up again, stupid me). I want to find an emtpy bed here at the hospital and sleep uninterrupted for just one night.

that is rough.
Gibson had RSV/Bronchitis earlier in January and was up ALL Night coughing for days... I was so drained and tired --- i told DH I felt worse than I did when they were newborns - b/c i did'nt have that "newborn mommy rush" to get me through the days... it was really hard. Esp since they have been STTN for so long- to go back to not STTN was so hard. I feel your pain.
