Sick. yuck.

Normally if I get sick with a cough and sore throat, I try to ride it out for a few days and see if I start to get better. I'm not one to run to the doctor if I don't have to. Well, I wasn't getting better and my ears were hurting this morning.

I saw the doc and she said I was sick with a temp, but wanted to me to wait another 3 days before she would give me an antibiotic. She also said I should get plenty of rest, drink lots of fluids and have low stress in my life for the next 3 days. Bwhahahaha! I told her none of that was likely to happen given I have a sick toddler and my job is very demanding. I also reminded her that his is day 4 and I am getting worse.

She wrote the antibiotic. 

I get not wanting to give everyone pills, but this is seriously the first time I have showed up in her office sick. It's not like I make a habbit of this.
