We did an animal theme. DS has a small stuffed lion he loves, so we focused around that. I hate the commercialized themes (i.e. Mickey Mouse, Baby Einstein, etc.), so we made up our own. Totally cheaper, and super cute. PM me if you want to see pics.

We did a music theme because DS loves music... We used the characters from Jack's Big Music Show on his invite, which said "Let's Rock N' Roll, I'm ONE Year Old!" We had wooden maraccas tied to balloons as favors and the kids loved them. We had 3 cakes, one was a guitar, one was a saxaphone, and his personal cake was a little 6' drum...
