Just trying to get ideas for DS's nursery. I am not going to go all out like i did with DD but i still want to do something fun. Also if you have any pics that would be great too:) thanks!
I am just doing colors (navy, orange and light blue). .
Same here! We also have three University of Illinois items in the nursery, but they're subtle (mobile, light switch plate cover, and nightlight). U of I's colors are blue and orange, in case you didn't know. It's not enough of a theme to be really matchy, but it all ties together nicely.
No pics yet, but it's all done in a shabby chic/seersucker type theme with lots of pale blue/khaki/chocolate brown colors. I prefer nurseries that look more like adult rooms than baby rooms, if that makes sense at all!
Ours is Vintage Mickey and Sports. The bedding has mickey playing baseball, football, etc. We have various decorations for either sports or Mickey. I'm a baseball fan and DH is a football fan, so this makes us both happy. Oh, and we got engaged at Disneyland :-)
We aren't doing too much with the theme, but we are having MIL make the bedding and we chose robot fabric. We are going with a sage green and bright blue (turquoise) color scheme.
No pics yet since we just painted this past weekend and our furniture isn't in yet.
Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

I'm not big on themes, but I guess we have a subtle woodlands thing going on.
This!
No cutesy baby/cartoony woodland stuff, either. It's all mostly stuff that could work for an adult's room. Like a pp, I don't like the cartoony-looking nurseries. I plan to post pics when it's done (probably another few weeks from now).

My aunt is making us robot bedding as well, not really the theme since he will be sharing with older DS. I had the hardest time finding fabric, did you?
We aren't doing a theme with DS we did with DD and I got so sick of it after awhile. His bedding is plaid, polka dot and striped and then we got some vinyal dots for the walls. Nothing to exciting but it isn't corny at least
We're doing blue 2D Zoo by Alexander Henry. The walls are plain blue already, and we have white furniture, all from DS1. I'll be making a crib skirt, quilt and accent pieces out of the 2D Zoo fabric and a few coordinating fabrics.
We used Chase bedding from PBK, and the walls are light blue with dark wood furniture. We have classic Pooh paintings with collectible stuffed animals, including the 4 main Pooh characters. I collect teddy bears.

I have kind of a woodland animal theme. I have pictures on my blog. I certainly didn't go all out but I did a few things (wall stickers, valance, rug).
I have the Carter's Tree Tops collection. So, its like animals like a Racoon (which is my favorite animal), Fox, Squirel, Owl, etc.
For DS we did the classic pooh theme from target. It was such a nice set and i loved it, but the one downfall was that my husbands family didn't understand it was CLASSIC pooh and they kept buying us 'disney' pooh things. My side of the family understood fine. But when my husband would tell his family that its the wrong pooh they would say it wasn't and then get mad that we weren't grateful for the gifts. *sigh* It wasn't like we were going to return any of it. DH learned soon that he should just keep his mouth shut since everyone from his family gave us the wrong pooh.
We're doing a giraffe theme...here's an older pic (we've done a lot since this one was taken, but you get the idea!)

Is that the Baby Mod Cadence/Davinci Emily crib in your nursery? What do you think? I've heard it easily scratches, but I'm pretty sure this is the crib we'll get.
We did a dr. seuss theme. Not doing any murals like typical over-the-top dr. seuss themed rooms but like the bold, primary colors vs pastels so it can grow with him. Here's my flickr set with just the crib and bedding.

Me too!
Edit: I forgot to quote. Ours is just animals, too. Not jungle, not safari, not any particular type. Just all different animals.
