I am sorry but this survey rather rude. Please tell me you ask this stuff from all moms. the first question alone made me think WTH because why does it matter.
Agreed. From a quantitative analysis standpoint, this was a poorly worded survey, and often times there were significantly more negative answers than positive.

Yes, questions were skewed.
Also, Q1 offers the option of "There is no ideal age", yet Q2 doesn't have a corresponding response - you have to pick WHY you chose the age you chose... but that response is not choosing an age.
I wanted a special snowflake for almost every answer. And, the survey ignored changes, such has having multiple children or different jobs since you started having children. Attitudes and experiences can change over time.

This. Actually I quit my job after DS #1 was born and was MISERABLE, so I went back to work later.
I took it, but I was also a "special snowflake." there were a lot of questions on which I needed more or different options. The "have to" vs. "chose to" is nearly impossible to answer unless you are at one extreme or the other. Yes, I COULD stay home and we could survive, but I "chose" to work b/c I feel I "have to" in order for us to have the standard of living we want right now.
In the next survey while asking if we have to or chose to work you may want to ask the same question regarding our partners. I agree with the rest of the gang - some of those questions are a tad bit pointed.
A good reality check for this survey would have been to insure that, at the very least, there was an answer that would be appropriate for the primary breadwinner. Filling that role, some of these questions were ridiculous/irrelevant to my situation.
Re: Take our survey about working moms
AGAIN with the chose to vs. have to thing.
Where is the "My husband makes a boatload of cash but that has NOTHING to do with me working full-time"??????
