Baby Jogger Running w/o LO in a carseat?

I have a nice jogging stroller but no adapter for my car seat to fit on it. Generally, what I know is that LO can't ride in it (without the car seat) til 6 months. Anyone hear or do any different? My damn pants are tight Stick out tongue
