38 Week Appt

80% Effaced, still only fingertip dilated.  How many of you are where I am right now?  If I manage to get 100% effaced, what are the chances my dilation will kick in??  I'm walking like crazy....and I feel absolutely no pressure on my cervix, just mild cramping.  I know her head is down there b/c my midwife was bouncing her head like a basketball at my appt with her fingers...yowsers...didn't feel too good either!

    Just had mine this morning too.  I am 1 CM dilated and only about 20% effaced.  I have meetings Tuesday and Wednesday at work but after that it will be walking, sex, and lots of spicy foods for me Smile

    I had mine this morning too. I have been 90% effaced for 3 weeks now and have gone from 1 cm at 35 and 36  weeks to 2 cm at 37 weeks and today I was 3cm. She stripped my membranes and we are hoping for a baby this week! I am so nervous!
