How much did last night suck? I'm still in shock over it. Um, we don't lose! I think with the couple of passes that Wayne and Gar?on dropped and that brilliant on side kick they came out with after the half just changed game momentum and we couldn't catch up. I actually think Addai had a good game! And where was Mathis the whole night? Who ever was covering him out played him by far.
Ugh, it stings. However I do like Drew Brees and happy for Sean Payton, but man does it burn my britches that Reggie Bush has a Super Bowl ring. Barf.
Re: Jettagurl***(And Ecaires and all my other indy girls)
It sucked, but NO wanted it....like they oozed desire last night. I think we were out coached and out played. That onside kick was crazy - gutsy, but effective. Addai had a GREAT game....but one of the few who did. I think so many went into it as it was "just another game" when NO went all out.
The Saints are a great team/organizations so I'm happy for them, and for Brees being able to really shine and show off his talent. The Colts had a great year for having a new coach and lots of young, inexperienced guys.
I definitely have high expectations for next year....I don't think there's any big player changes expected, and Caldwell will be more in his groove and not a rookie coach anymore.
I'm a bad fan - we were rooting for Drew Brees a little more, b/c of being Purdue grads. We both just really love him - he was the QB at Purdue when we were students. So going into the game, we were rooting for both teams and figured we couldn't be upset either way.
My only disappointment was that the Colts didn't really play their best. I think they could have played better, and I hate that Peyton had that big interception. On the bright side, I really think the Colts have a great team going into next year, and I expect a lot. They did fantastic this year, despite injuries and having some really young receivers.
