I'm not complaining, just curious what others think of this. I'm also going to ask the pedi at her 2 yr appt.
DD goes to daycare every day and is not the best napper there. She'll nap for 45mins-1.5hrs typically. Her bedtime is between 7-730 for the most part. She's a great night sleeper. DH takes her to daycare and usually gets her up at like 8-830, so she gets a lot of night sleep. On the weekends, she must be making up for lost nap time, napping for 3 hrs. Typically on the weekends, I'll go in btwn 830-9, mostly because I'm up and bored. Right now I'm doing work so I figured I'd leave her alone.
In the AMs and at naptime at home, she does not make a peep when she wakes up. I'm sure she's awake right now, but I haven't checked on her yet. She will hang out in her crib quietly until I go in there. Last weekend we didn't go in till 10am, and she was totally fine. Not sure if she goes back to sleep or just hangs out or reads or what. Same with after naptime. I'll go into her room at the 3 hr mark and she's always awake, but quiet. I wonder how long she'd stay in there before calling for us. Who knows how long she actually sleeps or what time she wakes up.
Like I said, I know I can't complain but I wonder whats the "right" thing to do. Should I go in there and get the day started or just let her relax?
