So we were just discussing on what were going to do with a baby...he asked it innocently of course because hes never been around a "real" baby...then he follows it up with saying he will pretty much be a pet human like our Ian, which is our first furbaby...then he goes on to say that until he talks he might as well just be like a puppy, we have to feed and potty train (diaper)...man how i love this man and his silly analogies...

Oh, Silly DH!  

I just brought my son home, and DH and I have 9 cats and 2 dogs - I can assure him, it's absolutely nothing like an animal.  

But, teaching LO to potty on newspaper would be a he!! of a lot cheaper than diapers! ;o)

DH said all sorts of cute stuff like this when I was still pg, and let me tell you, he is now THE BEST dad I've ever seen.  I'm sure yours will be the same!  GL!!

I think he is trying to calm himself the poor guy...we go in for our c-section Thursday and he feels scared for me and the baby...and there is nothing i can do to get him to calm down...im not sure how he is going to handle everything but i do know he will be a great daddy

One of my favorite baby quotes of all time came from Scrubs.  Dr. Cox explains that "having a baby is like having a dog, only the dog slowly learns to talk."  Too funny--and awesome!
