How do you know what foods? There are just a few foods that are made. I've never made my own, so I'm curious. I've read about avocadoes & prunes, none of which are offered by gerber. Like I said, just curious if there are guidelines you all follow or if its just whatever you're comfortable with.
On another note, we have a potatoes success!

I made baked potatoes tonight and before adding the works to mine, I mashed part with a spoon and he gobbled it right up!
Re: re: making your own baby food
I was told not to make spinach and other foods high in nitrates. I was also told to introsuce one food a week to make sure there are no allergies.
https://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/ has a list of what foods by month.
Once he has had a variety of foods, I plan on mixing them up to make 'recipies' and adding herbs and spices once he's old enough- I want to cultivate an aventurous palate1 (We'll see if it works!)
