We had one for DD1.  It was just and informal, computer printed invite.  It also said that if people couldn't make it, DH, me and DD would be at Gma's from ___ to _______.  We visited when DD was 6 weeks old.

Ours has an image of a little chick with a bright colored egg (Gummi Bear is due on Easter). It just says "join us in celebrating the new [ln] who's due in April, so all you ducks & chicks can come out for a candy-colored celebration"

 It's an online invite, and you can see that there are couples invited as well as the male half or just female half of couples depending on who I know.
