How does DH do it? Honestly!?!?

Okay ever since I started teaching 7 years ago I've never been able to sleep in much on weekends...ALLLLlways up by 7:00 or so. And being pg has pushed that time up even earlier on most weekend mornings. However, DH just amazes me!  He went to bed around 11:30 last night.It's now 9:15 and he is STILL asleep.  Part of me is jealous as I think "Wow, well at least he can get some sleep now before LO gets here."  The other part of me thinks, "Hmmm...how's he gonna manage when LO gets here if he's used to sleeping in?!?" 

For the record as I write this I can now hear him walking around upstairs but honestly, almost 10 hours!?! Wow must be nice! I've been up since before 6.....

My DH is the exact opposite.  For his job he has to get up at 330 every morning so on the weekends he is up SUPER early.  Like today he said he got up at 615 but was up at 5 and just laid there for an hour trying to go back to sleep.  He actually gets kinda annoyed if I wake up too early b/c he likes to have his time in the morning to drink coffee and look at the internet.  Normally he has already started doing chores by the time I wake up so he is on the go and I still want to lay around.  We shall see how he "adapts" to his new role as a SAHD once LO comes!

My DH is like yours, OP.  He LOVES to sleep in and I get to a point where I just can't anymore.  If given the choice, I think he would sleep in until 10-11 every weekend, no matter how early or late he goes to bed.  I have to make him pick a wake up point or I get grouchy waking up every hour and finding him still asleep, especially if it is one of the precious few days we actually get to spend time together! :-)

Ugh! We have the same DH. I get bored though so I usually wake him by 8:30 or 9. He doesn't mind.
