My left arch has been really sore, I think its the extra weight from being this late in the pregnancy and hopefully it will get better after the baby is born!
My arches don't hurt... but my heels sure do!! It's the worst after I get out of bed in the morning!
hey, that's called heel spurs or plantar fasciitis. Make sure you are wearing good shoes that don't let your feel pronate (essentially the shoe is not "floppy" or won't twist when you try to twist it). Keep a water bottle or a can of veggies in the freezer. When you get home from work, put the bottle or can under your foot and roll it back and forth. It massages and ices it at the same time. In the morning, before you put a foot on the floor, stretch the muscles in your soles by flexing and extending your feet multiple times (at least 10) and then get up. Sounds nuts, but it can really help.
