Interesting appointment today.....

My Doctor is out of town so I had to have my weekly appointment with another doctor. He is a really good doctor and actually delivered me. That being said the entire staff knew who I was, and I had no idea who they were. I have never been more groped in my entire life. Basically I had an audience the entire time(5 older nurses). DH shut away in a corner he had no idea how to handle the situation. ( they were also picking at him and what features my LO would be sooo lucky to have, One of the nurses grabbed his bum.) Personally I found the situation rather hilarious. 

Finally the doctor actually came in and he decided that he should check me for progress. Now I am not that tall, 5'6, however my legs start higher up but still not a short torso either. This  has caused me to have an extra long uterus canal. The Doctor is a rather short man with rather short arms. So when he started to check me he actually had to stop because he couldn't reach. One nurse brought him in a stool to stand on so he would be able to check. He started again and again he could not reach my cervix. This is when they had to get a couple of books to put on the stool for him to stand on. He finally managed to check me and all I can see out of the corner of my eye is DH turning blood red trying not to laugh. At this point I wasn't so amused anymore.... I mean the man was rooting around in there like he hadn't eaten in a week and my vag. was a KFC bucket with the last piece chicken at the bottom.

To top off the end of the appointment I have made 0 progress and I found out that I have a tipped cervix from LOs weight. She has been very low for the last 5 weeks and the weight instead of helping the process along has just made it more complicated. Oh and I won't be induced until the 15th.

I officially feel defeated and like I am incubating an elephant....

I was just on the normal medical table. I was in a bigger room where he doesn't usually do the internals and the bed wasn't able to come down to his level. He is a really short man I would say like 5'0 ft.

hahaha I love bringing DH to the doctors. My doctor has a really thick accent and DH tries talking like him the entire time we're there and for the rest of the day when we leave. Cracks me up.
