When he/she wakes around 5:30/6? DD sleeps from 7-5:30.. we feed and put her back to sleep until 7:30 or 8. I'm just wondering if this is common or if I am just a sucker for sleep. I am at home with her, however, so I know that some people just have to get up during that time. That's not what I'm referring to.
Re: S/o STTN? Do you put LO back to sleep
The first 2 weeks DD was in her crib (between 4 1/2 and 5 months), she would wake at 5 and we'd bring her to bed with us until 730-8 when she would wake up for good. Lately, she's been sleeping straight through until 730-8, then eating and staying up for an hour or 2 before her first nap. Today she woke up (her daddy was making too much noise in the kitchen!!!) at 6am, ate, and went back down until 930.
We just follow her cues though, if she wakes up acting hungry, we feed her. If she falls asleep or is still rubbing her eyes after eating, we put her back down. Otherwise its playtime!

when I was at home then yeah, I'd try and put her back to sleep when she would wake up around 5:30ish... either back in her bed or just in her bouncy seat... that way I could just lay around until my oldest got up a few hours later.
nope. once he's up, he's up.
If he wakes up REALLY early (aka before 5am like today!) then we give him a lovey & turn on his aquarium to keep him content another 15-30 minutes.
