Nervous- Prometrium & fluctuating progestrone levels

Hi,

I am just a little over 9 weeks pregnant and worried. My Dr. put me on Prometrium at 6 weeks, because my progestrone levels had slightly decreased. They went down to 27, which I know is still not considered dangerous. Once I started taking the Prometrium my levels have risen each week, until this week. My levels have went from 67 to 49. The Dr. just increased my dose, but I can not help but worry. I lost a baby last year and this is now my second pregnancy. Has anyone taking Prometrium and had levels go up and down? I am hoping to hear some positive. I also have thyroid disease and also found out this week that my levels are off, so that dose has been changed as well- Not sure if the 2 relate or not. Thanks.

Not sure if this helps but my RE said p4 levels are nothing to worry about till they are below 10..Mine went from 20 something to 10 around 8 weeks..I was put on progesterone suppositories till the end of my 1st tri and now am 27+ weeks! I have no idea if my p4 levels went up and down b/c they only told me if they were "ok"..My RE didn't want me to obsess about the numbers after having 2 m/cs..GL!

Thanks for your comment! My Dr has assured me that everything is ok- but you know how it is- Cant help but worry. I just went to get another blood test to check the levels again today, so hopefully they have increased. I wish you lots of luck with your pregnancy.
