RP: Crib bedding/toddler bedding

When you move LO to a toddler bed, do you still use the comforter, sheet set you use in the crib?  I got a crib set when I first had DD, never used the bumper because of the whole controvery, never used the diaper holder because there was no where to hang it, and have yet to use the comforter. I just took the comforter out and tried using it a couple times but DD pushes it off her, so I guess she doesn't really like it right now.  So I'm wondering if I could still use the comforter when I move her to a toddler bed or will it be too small?  (I did post this last night but got no response so I wanted to try once more) Thanks.

Re: RP: Crib bedding/toddler bedding

  • I was in the beginning but then I saw the cutest toddler bedding set at target. they have several toddler "bed in a beg" sets for only $30 and they are cute. She loves them because I let her pic out the style. The blanket from the crib set we had fits good but the toddler comforter kinda drapes off the side of the bed, so there is more of it

  • I know that the comforter will fit. I probably won't use it though. I have my heart set on some PBK sets.

  • I love DD's quilt that came with her set and have not used it as well.  When we move her to her "big girl" bed  it is a full-size so the quilt will definitely not fit.  I am either turning the quilt into a wall-hanging or I am going to make her a full-size quilt using her crib quilt as the center and adding on around it.
