Breech babies dropping/34w too early?

First, do breech babies "drop"? All of a sudden it is so much easier to breathe and my stomach feels kind of different. If breech babies do drop, is 34w earlier than usual for this?

Could you tell when your baby dropped? What did it feel like?

You described me to a "T." I had a breech baby and dropped at like 33/34 weeks, so it is possible. The Saturday that I was 33 I was so uncomfortable with DS's head up in my ribs. A couple of days later I woke up and could bend farther, was completely comfortable, and most important, I was able to breathe.

The thing that stinks is an ECV is less likely to work if your LO drops. I opted out of it and went straight for the c/s. It was nice to know DS's birth date and I got my hair done the day before so I didn't have to worry about it for the 4 days I was hospitalized.
