Best time to take maternity pics

What week would you rec for taking maternity pics? I am 27 weeks now, but feel my bump is smaller than most people. I do like the  fact that I do not have any stretch marks now. When do those normally show up?

Our photographer recommended the end of month 8.  We just had ours taken two weekends ago so at 37 weeks.

i was told to do it around 33 weeks, any time after that, you may look swollen.

We're doing ours at 33 almost 34 weeks b/c the photographer couldn't get us in at 35 weeks. I've had stretch marks for a while now I don't remember when they popped up. So if you don't have them now you may not get any.

Unless I go into labor before next week, I'll be doing my last set at 38 weeks. So far the ones I like the most were taken around 22-24 weeks.

Mine were done at 34 weeks and I think they looked great, but I am lucky *knock on wood* that I have no stretch marks

I did mine at 32 weeks..I have some stretch marks, but I made sure the photographer could photoshop them and she did a beautiful job.

I'm getting mine taken this weekend and I will be 32 weeks on Thursday.

My sister suggested getting them before 34 weeks, as she started swelling really bad the 6 weeks before due date.

This!  Plus my belly button is starting to pop this week so my bump isn't as cute as it once was.  I'm still lucky to not have gotten any stretch marks yet!
