Stupid Question :) UTI and Spotting ;)

You'd think by now (4th) I'd have all the answers ;)

Ok so yesterday I have brown grainy/stringy (no pink or red) discharge. It wasn't tons and I wrote it off because I had a check for a yeast infection.
?
I was also tested for a UTI. ?I've never had one of these before and the doc did say they saw blood in my urine. So I'm already being treated for both and feel much better.

Today when I go to the bathroom, I have RED blood on my tissue. It's not mucousy. There's not a lot. ?But 5 or 6 drops each time...
?
Could this be from the UTI? ? I did see a spotting thread earlier and had been following it but no one mentioned UTI. ?

More info about me is baby is fully engaged, I'm softening/thinning but only a finger dilated. ?She did not give me numbers and didn't seem to concerned (other than a mix of rest and bedrest) and said it's not as common to drop this early in subsequent pregnancies.

    I have had bleeding from a UTI, so yes, it could be.

    Thanks :) That makes me feel better! ?I don't want this baby coming out before 38 weeks! ?I tried googling and didn't find much...

    I have had many UTIs with this pregnancy and really have not had spotting like that. I have had the tp tinted a pinky color as a result after wiping but not spots. Personally I would call the doctor on that one.
