Hospital Rules

Just thought I'd share this since the previous "Hospital Rules" post reminded me of it.  

My birthing class is taught by one of the nurses that works at the hospital. One night she told us that our DH/SO are welcome to join us in the jacuzzi but they had to wear swim shorts. Everyone laughed but she said that you'd be surprised.

At my birthing class the nurse said the same thing! She was talking about the showers though. She said you would be surprised how many DH's jump in there completely naked, and then when the nurse comes to check on you the DH just acts like nothing is out of the ordinary and tries to have a normal conversation w/the nurse! Creepy!

They told us the same thing about the showers. We can labor in the shower and DH can be in with us...but he better have shorts on, lol

The last thing I want to look at while I'm contracting is my husband's naked, hairy rear-end. (Love you, honey! )

The nurse also told us that some men leave the door open when they use the bathroom! I guess some men don't realize that nurses come in and out unexpectedly. I would kill my DH if he did that!
