Re: NastyAnnie. For those of you

Who don't read through the comments.

I forgot some of you might not be aware of the rest of the situation.

My doctor is planning to induce at 35w3d because I have PIH, and am at high risk for developing Pre-E. So, yeah, my practice is already planning to do that. My question is about skipping the induction process completely, because at 35w3d, it seems stupid to me.. especially since I've already been told they wouldn't let me go long anyway.

That is all. =)

  • Thank you. I already have HB and reading those dumb responses was making it rise more. Ugh!

Lol it was driving me nuts. I wanted to save Annie some frustration and make a nice announcement so she didn't get 410 million flames for being induced early.

  • I'm not even sure why she titled her post as "flamable"   I think her question is 100% legit.

Because there are a lot of people on here who light your a$$ on fire for even mentioning an elective c-section. I think her question is legit, too. And those of us who know what's been going on with her understand her concerns. Some people just think she wants to have her baby at 35w for the hell of it, hence the reason for my lovely clarification post. lol =)

This exactly.  My head really is starting to hurt, and I'm actually afraid to take my bp right now.

  • I really don't think this post is necessary. Not everyone is up to date on her situation... it's not really realistic to expect everyone to know each and every nestie's medical situation. And not everyone reads through 40+ replies before answering themselves. I'm sure if Annie was that worried, she would have edited her OP... not like she's going to make a decision based on someone's flameful reply anyway!

Lol thank you. Some people would disagree. I wasn't criticizing people for not reading through the replies. I simply clarified Annie's situation for those who were unaware and for those who didn't feel like reading through all of the replies. If you don't think it's necessary, ignore it.

All I'm saying is, a few of you kept mentioning that you were getting *your* BP high just by reading some of the responses... I thought that was a bit excessive! I know Annie's situation, I'm on here quite a bit, and I was supportive in her post. But no need for all of us to get all up in arms for those who aren't familiar with her -that's all I'm saying.

She actually posted a clarification of her own before you did, so yours was a bit redundant...  Maybe you were still typing or didn't get a chance to read hers before you posted?   Anyway, it cleared up any questions I had for the topic.    I hope it all works out for her, it must be a very difficult situation to be in.......

Ehh it was just a statement. I highly doubt they're BP is really spiking. It was just frustrating to see so many people tell her to wait until 39 weeks after she already clarified that it's medically necessary to be induced at 35 weeks. So to avoid further confusion and frustration, I clarified.

I did see her post. This post was not directed at you as you did respond to her clarification, but there were several people still insisting that she wait until 39 weeks after she cleared things up because not everyone reads through every comment.

Yeah, when people talk down or are condescending to people about their "mental health issues" (as the first person who replied was), it gets me angry.  And when I get angry, my bp goes up.  When people became redundant after the clarification, that just became very frustrating.

Exactly.  40+ replies?  She clarified within like 8 replies.
