Hello again, hello...just called to let you know...

I have been thinking about all of you ladies here on the adoption board and wondering how everyone is...how many babies have come home, how much everyone has grown. I had to come here today and say hello.

We finally get to sign papers for Reagan next Monday,  Feb. 8, so we should finalize right around April 1, just short of her second birthday.

DH finally got a job and started yesterday (almost a year and a half without) and I am working 2 jobs from home since losing my job in July. Needless to say, I've been slightly overwhelmed, but haven't stopped thinking about y'all one bit!

Can't wait to catch up, or at least read some current posts and read about some new families who have joined since my last post several months ago.

Kristen, I've been thinking about you!  So glad you stopped in, and even gladder to hear that things are going well.  I am so, so, so happy for you, with all this talk of finalization!  I hope you get a chance to come around more.

Thanks Captain! Where are you on your journey? I think the last time I was around, you were having some issues due to the government in Peru...any updates?

Yes!  We were approved in September, and have been waiting for a referral since them.  We have been reviewing files of children of the waiting list, to see if there are any good matches for us.  We hope to have our little one soon!
