Solids with twins...

We've started cereal and veggies on the boys within the last month (cereal first, then veggies about 2 weeks ago), and I was curious...

Anyone's twins NOT want solids at the same time? My little guy LOVES the spoon, has a good chew/swallow thing going on, and doesn't have a problem eating. The older one though, as soon as I get the spoon in his mouth, he's pushing the food right back out.

Yeah, I had one who was ready sooner than the other. Give it a week or two and try again.

yes, DS was into his food a few weeks before DD became interetsed

Yes, Connor didn't take to solids until a few weeks after Patrick.  I just kept trying and finally he took to it.

neither of them were into it at 4mo (but my singleton loved it at 4mo) so i waited another mo and tried --- Gray loved it- gibby could give or take- mostly still thrusting it out.  Now they both love it- but Gray loves it a LOT more - so if Gibby is eating slow gray ends up with more - whcih is fine b/c Gibby is 5lbs bigger and doesn't need it

Mine are the same way. My little girl loves to eat, my little boy not so much. We tried cereal a month ago a couple times and neither really liked it, my guy gagged on it everytime we tried. On sunday we did veggies, my son gagged so much that he puked. I tried again on monday and my son loved it, today he hated it. My little girl is such a champ, no gagging and no spitting it out.
