AW: just finished my taxes!

After my hellish last 2 weeks, I decided to give myself a kick in the pants and do my taxes on my lunch break last Thursday.  I was missing some paperwork and found it over the weekend, and just e-filed today on my lunch break.  My refund will be deposited around February 16th, with plenty of time to spare before my vacation!

 

So, reminder, do your taxes!  I use Turbo Tax every year and love it, its so easy and user-friendly, and it automatically gave me the prompts for childcare and the new Schedule M "Making Work Pay" that helped me also.

Ha!  Getting slightly less than we were hoping for, but still plenty.  And using all of it on our vacation next month to Spain.  I'm hoping that my parents will keep DD for a weekend so DH and I can go to Rome by ourselves over my birthday (St Patricks Day).  Fingers crossed!

OMG, love my little tax deduction! DH did ours last week, should deposit by Friday, which is also pay day so we will look uber-rich (at least until bills are paid)!

Hmm... a Jen post without a $$ amount?  This can't be.  We need to know exactly how much you got back, how much your vaca costs, and how much you might spend on shoes in Rome.
