So tomorrow is my b-day and DH has reserved a jacuzzi suite at a nice hotel downtown so after dinner and a show we can go there...I've been saying how I really want to try and go swimming. Today he took me to buy a maternity swimming suit. Ugh, I look like a freakin whale and my legs are really fat and white. It was so embarrasing, trying to find something that fit over my boobs and didn't show my legs to the worst of their fat, white glory. I swear, I was shocked when I looked at myself in the mirror in a suit. The only thing I like was the cover-up we also bought. Boo and a big fail on looking cute in a suit.
I just don't understand what happened to my thighs..they didn't look like this a little while ago, I swear! Someone please tell me it will go away or what I can do to tone them up before tomorrow...
Re: A horrible, scary experience I never want to repeat...
I went swimming at a hotel pool with DS at Thanksgiving (29 weeks). I put on my bathing suit and waddled from the 4th floor down to the 1st floor pool...through the lobby. DH thought I was nuts...but the swimming itself was so relaxing that it was worth it.
Just try to focus on the relaxing swimming part and not the bathing suit part.
