3rd Trimester

yoga pants? from 2nd tri

As you've gotten bigger are you still able to wear regular lounge or yoga pants or have you gotten maternity loungewear?

If you have bought maternity lounge or yoga pants do you know anywhere that sells them in longer lengths (I've checked gap and old navy).

TIA!!

Re: yoga pants? from 2nd tri

  • I've resorted to maternity yoga pants. I got mine at Target for like $12 and I love them!! Oh yeah, and I'm 5'7 and they are pretty long on me even after washing!!
  • mine are from Aerie and i'm thinking they will make it to the end, mostly cotton and VERY stretchy (i highly reccomend them)

ETA: they have a part that you fold up over your bump or fold down so you can wear them either way

  • I wear yoga pants as much as possible as an alternative to jeans, but I still wear regurlar yoga pants, not maternity.
  • I'm still wearing regular although its becoming difficult to pull them over my hips....
  • I wear regular ones, but a size bigger than I would normally wear.  I have a black and brown pair that I wear to work and they look just like my dress pants!  So comfy and cheaper than buying a bunch of mat. dress pants.

  • I am still wearing all my prepregnancy yoga/sweat pants.  I am 5'10" and have not found anything long enough for me in maternity.  Check out Target - I got a pair of champion black yoga pants there several months ago that come in longs, and am thinking about going back and seeing if they have other colors.  They are super comfy, so long and I wear them constantly.
  • I'm still weaing all my regular lounge stuff.  The shirts are too short, but oh well, if I'm not leaving the house, i dont really care.
  • Regular yoga pants from New York & Co in long. I am 5'10" and most yoga pants are way too short especially after being washed. They still go over my bump just fin,e but as I get bigger I can wear them below my bump.
  • I just bought a pair of regular yoga pants at gap & they fit great. I can't wear them over my bump - but its uncomfortable for me to do that anyway.

  • I bought maternity yoga pants from Target. They are a little looser than regular yoga pants but plenty long enough for me (I'm 5'9). And they were inexpensive.

  • I bought some regular yoga pants (one size bigger).  I have a pair of the foldover maternity pants from Old Navy and they just don't fit well.

  • I am still wearing regular yoga pants from Old Navy.  I went up a size though about 2 months ago to fit the bump.  They are kinda long on me, esp in the bigger size, but I'm only 5'4"... Smile

  • I am still able to wear mine that I had from before I was pregnant that are from ON. I just don't dry them so they won't shrink up. I am thinking of investing in another pair since mine are black and are starting to fade. GL

  • I wear my regular yoga pants. I just wear it under my bump. They're so comfortable! It's pretty stretchy.

  • I have some maternity capri length yoga pants (I'm 5'1" so regular are too long) and some regular petite sized ones a size up for what I normally wear.  I wish I would have just skipped the maternity yoga pants and got the normal ones a size up.  I think they are going to work better for post-partum anyway but we'll see.
  • Even though I can clearly wear my yoga pants under my ever-enlarged bump, my rear end has gotten so wide that the seams are screamin' every time I put them on.

Go with a good pair of maternity pants and you won't regret it.

  • Yup, still in my regular ones.  I can say that I keep the fold-over panel up these days--and it's so very, very comfy that way!  So make sure you have pairs with a really flexible waist, slouchy and fold-over if possible.
  • I just bought a pair last night at Target, the maternity kind for $20. Im 5'7 and they are plenty long.
  • I had to get maternity yoga pants. They are SO much more comfortable! I love them.
