I had my regular 24 weeks appt last Monday, I had to fu today for some problems I'd been having. Anyway I had a 3.5 weight gain in one week
it so freaked me out.... so apparently I have alot of water retention! Kinda sucks for me I have to totally change my diet and watch my sodium intake... I'm so lost as to what I'm supposed to eat for lunch since I have to watch the sodium... What are you girls eating Low sodium wise for lunch? (or any meal really)
Re: help! water retention... what are you eating?
do you eat a lot of processed foods?
usually i have either leftovers from dinner or a turkey wrap with lots of veggies, greek yogurt w/ berries or jam and almonds, and some raw veggies (carrots/celery). another favorite lunch lately has been celery w/ peanut butter, banana, and the greek yogurt.
I have been having a problem with this too. It is especially hard since all meat, except sausage and bacon, is now disgusting and peanut butter, while not disgusting, induces crazy vomiting.
I gained 4 pounds this week and my legs were starting to look unattractive to say the least. Today for lunch I had a salad with lots of veggies and oil and vingegar for dressing and homemade mac and cheese with NO salt added.
I make sure to drink about 64 - 80 ounces of water each day.
My favorite lunch right now is butter lettuce with hard boiled eggs cut on it (light honey mustard dressing), Pink Lady apple, and whole wheat pita with hummus.
We had pizza last night and I can barely get my rings off. The bloated feeling is never fun.
