Recommend your Sling

This has probably been posted recently...sorry.

I have been wanting to get/register for a sling but I have no idea where to begin, what type to get, etc.  Can anyone recommend a good one for me?  My cousin reminded me yesterday that I should get one but she can't remember the brand.  TIA

I LOVE my zolowear one.  www.zolowear.com  I used it all the time and it was really comfy....plus they have neat patterns.

Look in the Attachment Parenting board, they get a couple of sling questions every day. I lurked on there for a little while and decided to get a Mei Tai style sling, but a lot of them recommend a Moby for newborns.

I like a ring sling with rails for a brand new baby... and then once they are older and have more head control- I like to make my own wrap slings.

if you are interested in baby carriers vs slings- the ergo and moby are my two faves.  love them both, and so does charlie

I got a Mei Tai Baby Hawk after several people recommended it.  The straps take getting used to, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy.
