This place can never be simple!

I decided to go ahead and buy the new dresser for # 2 (yay 1st big purchase) since I didn't know if they would in fact have in back in stock to avoid online purchasing.

I went ahead and signed up for the CC, so I could save 10%.   They made me put the entire balance on the card, and wouldn't let me use my GC or cash, and then put the remaining balance on there.  They then tell me I can take my receipt to customer service right away, and pay the cash towards it and my GC...well that is not true, you can not use the GC. 

I was so pissed because with the cash and GC I could have saved $80 right off the top.  Of course I can use the GC on other things, but I would rather have done it that way.

Stupid target!!!

Oh, I would have pitched a fit! If their employees are not trained properly, then that's NOT your problem! They should have honored what their employee told you.

ohhh I find this is not the case in many places!  Just because their employees are idiots unfortunately never helps my situation.
