I did and thought the baby is so small and so cute......I felt so bad for them, I actually cried my little eyes out last night as I watched.
The baby was born about 25 weeks. I am about 25 weeks. Its hard to believe that Daniella is that size inside my tummy......
I mentioned that to DH who said stop freaking me out...... He told Daniella to stay put and grow.....it was cute.......
Re: Did anyone watch the Dugger Special Last Night??
I was thinking the same thing!! Since I am pretty close to the 24/25 weeks that she went in the hospital at.
DH and I watched it together, and he always likes to pick on me when I cry with TV shows. I flat out told him as it was starting that I was going to cry, and if he picked on me once he was going to get beat. Haha.

I watched the last half and was amazed that my LO is the same size as that one is now....
I could never do what they do, but thought it was funny watching the older son and his wife trying to keep up with all the younger kids....I bet they will not be having that many!
I watched it last night and cried like a baby. She is so tiny!! I can't believe how well they are handling it though. I would be one hot mess. Michelle seemed really composed.
I really hope little Josie pulls through.
My BFP Chart
I watched this & it made me sad how small she was. Seems like she is doing well though.
Furthermore, I will never understand why anyone cares how many kids they have. They seem like great, well-mannered kids & the Duggers financially support all of them. Why is it anyone elses business how many kids a family has???

You said exactly what I was thinking. I developed Pre-E with my second child, Jonathan, and it happened so fast. I went in for my 32 week appointment, and they discovered my bp was high and I had protein in my urine. By the next Thursday I was pushing my son out, and it started what 5 of the hardest weeks of my life when he was in the nicu. He was 4lbs even. Sometimes God has a plan, and it could mean you deliver very early. Sometimes you have absolutely no warning. My heart goes out to the Duggars.
I agree. While 19 kids is NMS it works for them. They are not 19 brats running around doing whatever they want. They are 19 respectful, well behaved kids. Like in the special last night, they went to El Salvador to help out and i'm sure they have possibly donated time or money to Haiti.
I would rather see people who neglect/beat their children stop having kids before the Duggars stop.

This exactly. I wanted to watch the Grammys instead. It sounds like it's going to be a tear jerker!
Pre-e can happen to anyone at any time. I was more mad because the show seemed to show that once you have pre-e it means the baby must come out right away. Just like every pregnancy is different so is how one's body handles it. i think last night show could be scary for women facing pre-e.
As for them stopping because this happened personally I would wait to see what if any special needs this child will have. Iw ould also wait till the mom is cleared by a her doctor and maybe follow up with a cardiologist to ensure there isn't any other issues there before trying to have more just to be safe.
The only reason I say 19 is too many is how much the older children have to pitch in to help. While yes it is good to have some of that experience I knew what it was like growing up and being a second mom to my baby sister who was 16 years younger then me. At times it was great but at other times I wish I had my freedom instead of moving home from college to ensure she was able to get to preschool because my mother worked. The older kids in this situation really are extra parents and that is hard and tiring after a while.
