No alcohol...weird

Okay this kinda makes me sound like a soak...

DH and I decided that if we are TTC I should stop drinking all together just to be safe and to get used to it anyway. Seemed like a smart idea to me. We are in a rock band together and I don't think I've ever played a show where I haven't had at least one drink throughout the night. Usually I have quite a bit between the free drinks from the venue and the shots that fans buy for us. We had 2 shows this weekend and I thought it would be so weird not drinking (and trying to hide it...the band doesn't know we're TTC yet). I actually had a lot of fun and people told us it was one of our best shows yet. This was kind of an eye opener that I don't have to be tipsy to be entertaining. DH, on the other hand, was happy to have a DD and had a pretty good time. He's pretty awesome though and can play through anything lol!! I think I'll try the sober stage method more often even after baby comes!
