Should brochures be on lightweight glossy paper or heavy cover stock?

  • I think it depends... if you're going to be mailing it out on its own, heavy cardstock. If it's going to be enclosed in a envelope with other stuff, I'd go lightweight to minimize your postage costs.
  • Also depends on how long it is. If it's one page, then cardstock, if it's multiple pages, glossy lightweight paper. 
  • Oh, and I also think (assuming it's a doula brochure) that a matte finish, high recycled content would be really nice and help you stand apart a bit from all the other inkjet-printed-on-glossy-paper brochures in the world! :)

    I agree, that is a nice idea.
