I know that the anticipation is probably much worse than the actual injection, but I'm still nervous. I start Follistim today. I'm going to try and get it over with in the next 10 mintues or so.
GL to you! I know it's totally different, but I had to do injections of blood thinners when I had a blood clot. The dreading was much worse than the actual process of giving the injection.
Ooooh. Let me know how it goes. If this last round of Clomid doesn't work, then that's what I'm on to next. I am horrible with needles!! Good luck to you!!

OMG, I won't lie that was difficult to do. I insisted on doing it myself. DH offered to do it but I just knew I'd be disappointed in myself if I couldn't do it. I was sweating bullets I had to go run and put my hair up in a clip lol. I'm still a little dizzy from all the heavy breathing and adrenaline.
Once I finally got up the courage to inject I realized, this doesn't hurt at all (which I knew but still)! I seriously took 15 minutes standing there pinching my belly staring down at the needle.
But I did it! And I'm actually proud. I know I can do this a little easier tomorrow.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
