That was the right thing to do on her part, kudos for that.

But  I will admit, it really did hurt my feelings. I know some teen mothers who are lazy and pawn their child off on somebody else. But then I know other teen mothers who are just awesome and so inspiring.

Amanda, I just have to say how aggrivated I was at that post. Really? We have 2 teens on this board and now everyone on this board is a single teenage mom who should have been smarter when picking men. Wow. Ever heard of God having a plan? It might not have been my plan to get pregnant or for our DH/FI/BF/BD to leave, but geez, it's God's plan! That woman hit me below the belt. I can't believe someone could be so narrow-minded. Yes, I am glad she apologized, but it still hurts.

Yes!!  By the time I read that the other day, I was seething and couldn't reply at the time!!   I was really hurt too, I am not a teenage mother, and what if I was?? I can not imagine being a teen mom or mom-to-be and reading that post that she thought it was HUMOROUS??OMG!!! Im not going to go on and on about this as much as I would like to and it was pretty big of her to jump off her pedestal and apologize
