In a happy, nostalgic, wistful way. Not that it was SO long ago that I had a new baby myself - but in some ways - it seems like a lifetime ago. They grow SO fast and change so much - the funny little boy who walks around my house (like frankenstein) and laughs and yells and gets MAD at me sometimes - it's hard to believe he is that newborn that came home with me in November 2008.

Treasure every moment. DON'T sweat the small stuff (like worrying that you're "spoiling" them by letting them sleep on your or in your arms - that stuff is GONE in the blink of an eye.)

So stressful having a new baby sometimes (oftentimes!) - but so amazing too. The beginning of a beautiful relationship.

Aww, thanks for this post. It brought tears to my eyes to think about all this going by so fast. I try to treasure all the time I can get with him and let him sleep on me all.the.time.

thanks. little A has been wanting to fall asleep on me (while i am sitting with her against my chest) and sometimes i worry she won't be able to fall asleep otherwise if i keep letting her.... i will just stop worrying and enjoy it it's so precious
