So I know that anything placed within the car seat can lessen its effectiveness & also have an effect on your insurance. Are there alternative carrier covers that are acceptable? I saw something by Kiddopotamus online at Walmart & amazon. Here is a link. We're not looking for pink, just an example.

Ideas on this?
Re: Alternatives to Bundle Me?
If you are wanting a bundle me for cheaper, then check out TJ Maxx. I got my heavy winter one for $25, as opposed to the $40 or whatever they cost now at BRU. I also got a Bundle Me Urban at a garage sale for $5, just needs the zipper fixed which will be super easy.
Also, TJ Maxx has Carter's ones clearenced out now for $15. I saw one in my store just a couple days ago and would have gotten it if we didn't have the bundle me already.
there are lots of products that they sell that aren't safe. crib bumpers is one that comes to mind
we use a cozy cover. It goes over the top and isn't anywhere near the straps

crib bumpers are completely safe--its a recommendation not to use them; they dont contribute to SIDS--after all, if was a death related to a bumper it wouldnt be SIDS now would it?
